Hotel Le Cinq Hyper - Centre - Chambery

The rooms are spacious with air-conditioning, a work desk, coffee/tea making facilities, and a TV; there's a great variety of local food available for breakfast, and the staff provide exceptional service.

Parking available. Basic room was comfortable and secure.

Arrived on a Sunday around 4pm, hotel access was closed. Notice on door advised it would open after 5.30pm. Most off-putting after long journey. Hotel is about 3 miles from town centre, and only local restaurant was closed on Sunday evening. This meant driving into town for evening meal, thus unable to have a drink with meal.! Room was adequate for overnight stay, being smallish, although well designed.

Staff were extremely helpful, especially on the issue of parking a car with a top box.

The rooms at this place come with a comfortable bed and are well-equipped.

Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel is also very conveniently located in the town for shopping and sightseeing.

This hotel does not have internet which was rather inconvenient for us.

The staff were very friendly and the receptionist was most helpful in giving local advice on various issues.

There were lots of houseflies around the area where the buffet breakfast was laid out.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, being right in the heart of downtown. It was so convenient to have restaurants and shops within walking distance. Another great aspect was the friendly and welcoming staff. They were always ready to assist and made our stay even better. Plus, the pool was a great addition, providing a refreshing break from exploring the city.

To our stay. the rooms were quite small, making it a challenge to find space for our luggage.

Units with excellent shower. Marvellous breakfast for value for the start of the day. What an extremely friendly and amiable staff!

Quite bad views.

Easy walking distance of both the station, coach station and city facilities. Polite friendly, helpful staff who spoke some English and didn't laugh at our French. Amazingly quiet given the location.

keys to fire escape should be more clearly signed.

Bright suite, comfortable beds.

I had a great value for my money at this hotel. The room was comfortable and had all the necessary facilities. The location was perfect, near the station and city center, with great restaurants close by. The staff was kind, especially the gentleman who worked at night.

The breakfast selection could be improved.

Conveniently located between the train station and the old town, making it easy to explore both areas. The small indoor pool was a nice addition for a quick dip. The rooms had functioning air conditioning and the breakfast provided was above average. The internet connection was reliable.

I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Le Cinq Hyper - Centre. Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as limited parking and some noise from a nearby bar, the convenient location and comfortable amenities outweighed these issues.

I really liked this place. It was simple, tidy, and super close to the train station 🚉. the best thing was the location - right at the heart of everything! It was easy to get to the town center, restaurants, and shops from here.
